The success of any debt recovery programme is influenced by many factors including, the age of the debt, whether or not the debt is in dispute, the capacity of the debtor to pay, and so on.

One thing is for certain however – every day a debt is overdue, the likelihood of recovery diminishes. Whilst we cannot guarantee a successful outcome on every debt you place with us, we can guarantee that each matter will be handled in a precise, prompt and professional manner.

We guarantee that all our available resources will be used in the collection process to put the odds in your favour – not the debtors’. We will make written and telephone demands, and if necessary will arrange for one of our Agents to visit your debtor in order to bring about prompt recovery. From time to time however, it will be necessary to commence legal action on your behalf in order to show the debtor that you mean business!

Whilst our programme of demands is the best in the business, there will always be some debtors who won’t come to the table unless you force them to. Effective use of the legal system compels your debtor to prioritise the debt because now they must choose between paying you or filing a defence.

If the debtor fails to act on the Summons we will obtain Judgement from the Court, which is recognition by the Court that the debtor owes you money. Once Judgement is obtained, there are a number of enforcement options available to you, and we will advise you as to the most appropriate course of action.

Regrettably, even escalation to legal action will not guarantee you payment, but when we do recommend you commence legal action, it is because we are serious about recovering your money, and our recommendation is based upon the belief that this is the only way you will ever be paid.
